This course will be given by Dr. Audrey Remedios DVM, MVetSc, DACVS, Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Remedios is a former adjunct faculty and sessional lecturer position at the University of Calgary, and is now a surgery specialist in Calgary. She has authored numerous peer reviewed publications and textbook chapters related to small animal surgery. She has also written a number of book reviews and articles designed for public education.

Attendees will learn which fracture forces are neutralized by using plates and screws and how to select the use and understand the different functions of a plate including compression, neutralization, and buttress. Cases will be discussed.
This course will be recorded and registrants that are not able to attend the live event fully will receive a copy of the recording that will be active for 3 months.
